(that last one is old and in Spanish but it’s one of the best commercials ever)
Although some ads feature politicians, I want you to try and view the ads for their intended use of persuasive techniques rather than their political messages.
For class today, I would like you to post comments about any two of the above links.
In your comment, please explain the following things:
- What is the ad’s message?
- Who is the ad’s audience?
- Which rhetorical devices (ethos, pathos, or logos) does the author of the ad use?
- How does the ad use the devices?
